Kiwanis’ Supermarket Sweep raffle returns
Tickets on sale, drawing set for Aug. 9
Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island is again hosting a Supermarket Sweep raffle. The grand prize is a chance to run through Winn-Dixie and collect up to $1,000 in groceries.
Tickets are $10 each and are being sold in front of Winn-Dixie most Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
The winning ticket will be drawn Wednesday, Aug 4, at 8:30 a.m., at the weekly Kiwanis meeting and on Kiwanis of Greater Pine Island Facebook live. On Monday, Aug. 9, at 7:30 a.m., the winner will run through the store, collecting as many groceries as possible in 10 minutes (limited to 2 of each item, and limited to a maximum of $1,000).

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Just a few of the local benefits for Pine Island youth are summer pool parties, Junior Olympics, scholarships, Kiwanis Park in St. James City and Fall Festivals.
