Kiwanis Club to hold summer Pool Party Aug. 7
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island is once again hosting Pool Parties this summer on the island.
The next pool party Saturday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Kiwanis Club will cover entrance fees to the Pine Island Community Pool and have free hot dogs, watermelon, cookies and drinks.
Children, families and all welcome!
The Kiwanis Club meets Wednesdays at 8 a.m. at Bert’s Bar & Grill at 4271 Pine Island Road, Matlacha, and guests are welcome to come learn more about our activities supporting the children of Pine Island.
The Pine Island Community Pool is located in Phillips Park at 5675 Sesame Drive, Bokeelia, just west of The Center. For additional information about the facility, which is under the direction of the Lee County Parks and Recreation Department, please call 239-283-2220.
