Father Sellers to lead series of discussions on ‘From Beginning to End, The Rituals of Our Lives’
Father Ed Sellers will lead a four-week series of discussions about Robert Fulgam’s book, “From Beginning to End, The Rituals of Our Lives.” The discussions will be held on Mondays, from July 12 to Aug. 2, at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church, 10360 Stringfellow Road, St. James City.
According to Father Sellers, “‘To be human is to be religious.’ Every human being spends moments of their life asking important questions about life, the purpose of life, and the meaning of their life in particular. The questions seldom change, but the answers we give ourselves may change greatly over a lifetime. Those questions and answers we give ourselves, form one of the most important rituals of our lives.”
It is not necessary to purchase any books or materials for the discussions, as Sellers leads the group through an examination of the rituals that give meaning, purpose and structure to people’s lives.
