Father Sellers to conduct four-week series of discussions at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church
Fulgam’s book ‘From Beginning to End, The Rituals of Our Lives’ is topic for program
Father Ed Sellers will lead a four-week series of discussions about Robert Fulgam’s book, “From Beginning to End, The Rituals of Our Lives.”
The discussions will be held on consecutive Mondays, from July 12 until Aug. 2, at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church, 10360 Stringfellow Raod, St. James City.
According to Father Sellers, “‘To be human is to be religious.’ Every human being spends moments of their life asking important questions about life, the purpose of life, and the meaning of their life in particular. The questions seldom change, but the answers we give ourselves may change greatly over a lifetime. Those questions and answers we give ourselves, form one of the most important rituals of our lives.”
It is not necessary to purchase any books or materials for the discussions, as Sellers leads the group through an examination of the rituals that give meaning, purpose and structure to people’s lives.
Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Father Sellers at 727-504-5809.
