Kittens of the Week
It’s kitten season again! Don’t worry, these rugrats aren’t being kept in a cage. It was the only way to get a group shot. Herding cats and all that. They are about 8 weeks old and as always they are adopt one get one free. Our adoption fee is $60, but considering that all the medical is included and we offer free boarding and nail trims for them, it is actually cheaper than any “free” kitten you could get online. Normally I’d say stop in any time and meet these babies, but for their safety, we keep the rugrats in a foster home. Their little immune systems just aren’t strong enough yet to cope with 100+ adult cats in the shelter environment. It also gives us an opportunity to prepare and socialize them with other cats and dogs in a home setting. They are brought into the shelter almost every Saturday and by appointment to meet with potential adopters.
