Author Macomber to mark tradition with sounding of the conch shell at sunset
Mark your calendars for Friday, Dec. 4, from 5-7 p.m., because Bert’s Pine Bay Gallery is ready for its annual Holiday Party featuring multi-award-winning author Robert N. Macomber, the “2020 Florida Writer of the Year!”
Macomber, a local favorite, will mark this tradition by sounding the conch shell at sunset, and he’ll be happy to personalize any and all purchased copies of his “Honor Series.”
Plus, Calypso Magic will fill the air with a tropical steel drum beat from 6-7 p.m., all held safely outside.
The gallery will feature an eclectic selection to items to choose for those looking for holiday gifts.
Don’t forget to wear your masks — if you forget your mask, you can buy a unique one there.
The historic cottage is located next to the Matlacha Bridge at 4332 Pine Island Road.
