Traffic enforcement update
On Tuesday, March 17 the Traffic Unit will target at least one of the following three locations for enforcement.
South Cleveland Avenue (U.S. 41), Fort Myers
Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs
Business U.S. 41 (North Tamiami Trail), North Fort Myers.
Traffic safety tip of the week: Driving under the influence of alcohol places everyone at risk on the roadways. Don’t let parties and celebrations lead to a tragedy. Tips include designating a non-drinking driver; if you’re hosting a party serve high protein foods, offer non-alcoholic beverages and never serve alcohol to those under 21. You can report impaired drivers on Lee County roadways by calling 9-1-1. Remember, “Over the limit. Under arrest.”
