Police arrest suspect in seafood theft

One Friday, Jan. 23, Brandon Paul Myles, 21, of Fort Myers was placed under arrest for the alleged theft of more than $1,000 worth of seafood. An employee of Farm Raised Clams located in St. James City where the crime was allegedly committed, in a police report, Myles, is alleged to have stolen two boxes of oysters, 50 pounds of shrimp, 50 pounds of pompano and 50 pounds of stone crab claws.

Myles has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of larceny grand theft, each of which are felonies.

Myles was temporarily detained at the Lee County Jail and later released.
