Environmental activist to speak at Pine Island Democrats meeting
The Pine Island Democrats will host its next meeting Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. at the Pine Island Library meeting room.
Local environmental activist Sue Dahod will be speaking on clean water issues. Algae toxins from red tide and pollutants are expected to be a problem for Pine Island again this year.
All Democrats and interested friends are welcome.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served.
