Hurricane Eta did not stop the Veterans Day ceremony. The American Legion along with V.F.W. and the community celebrated together.

The American Legion family is so proud to have five auxiliary members joining the Color Guard. The Auxiliary distributed poppies last weekend with the help of the Legionnaires, Sons of the legion and the Legion Riders. We are proud to announce we raised $1,451. At this time one of our Auxiliary members is chairman for Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation. Her name is Kristen Petty. She is collecting items for homeless veterans. Please give her a call if you have any questions 239 738 6457.

Our family, of 1,300 members, is proud of all we do for our veterans, for our children and for the community–  for God & Country.
