Baby boomers looking for information on heath and life insurance, as well as other benefits and services will find what they looking for in one place next week.

Earp Enterprises, a national marketing organization for Medicare, life, health and retirement products, is hosting a senior expo at Coral Ridge Event Center Oct. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attendees will be able to speak with a myriad of local representative experts to see what options they may have in the realm of health services and more.

“What we like to do is put together an expo that’s geared specifically towards seniors with resources from local businesses in the community so that they can know what’s out there and what’s available to them,” said Chief Operating Officer Rachel Earp. “We really try to make it fun and interactive as well.”

The event is free to the public and includes food, prizes, giveaways, raffle items and more. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines will be followed throughout the expo with vendors being socially distanced and hand sanitizing stations at each booth. Earp said they will be keeping an eye on how many people are in the venue and that masks or face coverings will be encouraged.

Earp Enterprises puts on similar events around the state and country, though this will be their first expo in Cape Coral. They’ve occupied a location on Nicholas Parkway for three years.

Earp said they understand how difficult searching for the right option can be and believes a strong community bond makes all the difference.

“It’s just a great opportunity for them to come out and socialize, mingle and get to know different resources that are available to them,” Earp said. “Sometimes it’s hard to find all of those things, so we like to put it all in one big place for them.

“There’s just so much energy there and it’s just nice to get to meet people personally.”

Vendors will have brochures for attendees to take home and review and be able to answer any questions.

Attendees can find information on Medicare options, life insurance options, chiropractic coverage, home health services, assisted living, and more. Vendors will tie to health and wellness or services provided by businesses that help seniors.

Earp hopes to be able to continue similar events in the future to continue to be able to serve Cape Coral’s senior community.

“We want them to know everything that’s out there to help them,” Earp said. “I think this will be a great resource for Cape Coral.”

Coral Ridge Event Center is at 950 Chiquita Blvd., S., just south of the intersection at Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.

Earp Enterprises is at 324 Nicholas Parkway, W., Suite E.
