Cape man charged after shots
A Cape Coral man is facing charges after police say shots were fired toward a restaurant off Pine Island Road Wednesday night.
Ryan Jastrow, 36, of 213 N.E. 23rd Place, was charged with “written threats to kill after sending threatening messages and aggravated stalking,” according to a release issued by the Cape Coral Police Department Monday morning.
Police responded to Hurricane Grill and Wings on Pine Island Road to investigate a shooting call. Arriving officers were told were told someone had fired multiple shots towards the restaurant while driving eastbound on Pine Island Road.
“One person sustained an injury as a result of the shooting,” police said.
The release does not state whether that person had been shot.
According to the release, investigators were told Jastrow had been involved in the incident and had made threats to shoot a victim at Hurricane Grill and Wings over a personal issue, according to the CCPD.
CCPD also is looking for Jastrow’s vehicle, a silver 2010 Chevy Malibu four door.
Police ask if anyone has information on the whereabouts of his vehicle, to contact CCPD at 239-574-3223 or by submitting an anonymous tip at www.capecops.com/tips.
