Food Drive Day
To the editor:
Saturday, May 14, is Postal Food Drive Day. All food donated will stay on the island going to the Pine Island Food Panty. This drive provides much needed food for the summer months when donations are down. Volunteers will go ahead of the carriers on that day to pick up donations. Please have non-perishable items at you mailbox by 9 a.m.

The pantry is entering its 23rd year of service to our neighbors in need. Last year 1,458 families came to the panty and 4,168 adults, seniors and children were served.
