Taste of Pine Island rescheduled
The Taste of Pine Island has been rescheduled for the weekend of Feb. 27 and 28.
“Unfortunately, because of the unprecedented amount of rain over the last few weeks, the Bobby Holloway Ballfield at Phillips Park is unusable,” Joy Veatch said. “Therefore, we were forced to reschedule the Kiwanis Taste of Pine Island to Feb. 27 and 28. Everything else will remain the same.
The event was orignally scheduled to be held this weekend, Jan. 30-31, at the ballfield, located at Phillips Park, 5675 Sesame Drive, off Pine Island Road.
“We hope everyone will be able to attend the event and continue supporting our efforts to raise funds for scholarships for the youth of Pine Island, as well as the many other worthwhile programs that the Pine Island Kiwanis sponsor.”
The organizers are expecting the rescheduled Taste of Pine Island to be a spectacular event and are looking forward to seeing you there.
