Century 21 receptionist Suzanne Tomlinson ‘moves’ into real estate
After 12 years at the front desk of Century 21 Sunbelt Realty, Suzanne Tomlinson has moved into full-time real estate.
“I just want every one to know that I haven’t left,” Tomlinson said. “After so many years, people expect to see me at the front desk and now when they come in Diane Wickes is our new receptionist and people think I’ve left.”
Although Tomlinson has had her real estate license since 2008, she has provided only management and rental services along with receptionist duties.
“Recently I’ve had more listings and sales and decided that it’s time to go full time into real estate,” she said.
“We moved from Buffalo, New York, in 1981 and came to Florida,” Tomlinson said. “We rented a house in Lehigh Acres and then in 1991 we basically drove around looking for a place we liked. When we drove onto Pine Island we knew this was where we wanted to be. All my kids were born here and grew up on Pine Island.
“I just want people to know that I’m still here,” Tomlinson said. “I live, love and work on Pine Island. I’ve been a resident of Bokeelia for the last 23 years and have had the great pleasure and opportunity to be with Century 21 Sunbelt since 2004.”
