Heroes all around us
To the editor:
We had a great turnout for the Matlacha Hookers summer Blood Drive with 33 donations, which means that 99 individuals will benefit from the lifesaving efforts of those donors. Blood donors are truly heroes.
Thank you to all participants for supporting our efforts and helping us continue to make a positive difference in our community. Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
The Hookers extend a special thank you to Bert’s Bar, Pine Bay Gallery and Island Seafood Market for co-hosting our summer Blood Drive. They provided gift certificates for each donor.
