Hydro-electric power for clean water

1 min read

To the editor:

I have a proposal. Hydro-electric power from Lake Okeechobee.

Everyone wants clean water. Everyone wants clean air.

So how is it the Army Corps of “Engineers” can violate the clean water act?? How is it U.S. Sugar Corp. can force water overflow to go into rivers???

I do not want my wallet to buy land. That’s stupid.

I want my tax dollars from my wallet to build, yes build!, Electric powered generation turbines as part of a spillway for overflow.

But don’t let Army Corp of “Engineers” do it. They’ve spent billions in New Orleans/Lake Pontchartrain and still can’t get it right!!

I’ll build it – give me the money.

Call me now! this is Big/HUGE!
