Car Show to benefit cancer patients in need

Help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer by revving your engine at the fifth annual Cruisin’ for C.A.R.E. Car Show this Sunday, March 1, at 2270 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This exciting event benefits 21 st Century C.A.R.E. foundation’s mission to support those facing cancer.

Both stock and modified cars will be judged in 15 different categories, with awards given to the top three in each category. The panel of judges will award points based on paint, engine, interior, overall fit and finish of the car. Additionally, an overall best of show trophy will be given to the top car. Vehicle registration for the Cruisin’ for C.A.R.E. Car Show is $15. Spectators can attend the event to view the cars for free.

Two drawings will take place and chance drawing tickets are available for prizes. A 50/50 drawing will also take place, with the jackpot split between the winner and the foundation.

Sponsors for the Cruisin’ for C.A.R.E. Car Show include 21st Century Oncology, Q Auto, Terry Wynter Auto Service Center, Tire Kingdom, The Ranch and Electronic Registry Systems.

21 st Century C.A.R.E. is a nonprofit charitable foundation dedicated to helping cancer patients through financial assistance, research, cancer education and cancer screenings.
