Thank you all for successful ClamJam Food & Music Fest
To the editor:
I want to thank everyone who came out to our ClamJam Food & Music Fest last Saturday. I hope everyone had a good time. We had an excellent turnout and raised enough money to kick off our Community Garden project.
I would also like to thank all of our friends, family and volunteers who donated their time, especially Karen Doyle for guiding the popular Pond Apple Swamp tours, Dick Workman for the palm weaving demonstrations and artist Pat Collins who created our artwork and graphics.
Thanks also to our friends with Chamber of Commerce and, of course, our sponsors, Puregrown Aquaculture for the clams, and Blue Dog Bar & Grill for preparing the terrific chowder.
I’m extremely proud of our board members, Arielle Taylor-Manges, Dan Henkleman, Chris Piazza, Maritza Krupp and Ava Roeder, for all their help in planning and managing the event.
We hope to be back again next year, and promise to not run of chowder so early next time.
