Italo “Papa Bella” Chiavatti
Italo “Papa Bella” Chiavatti, 75 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born on November 1, 1939 in Italy to Paolo and Maria DiFelice Chiavatti. He emigrated from Italy to Canada and moved to Cape Coral 10 years ago. He was a custom home builder and most recently operated Pizza Bella in Matlacha where he was known as Papa Bella. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 49 years, Liliana Chiavatti; children, Cinzia (Joe) Sparacino, Corina (Paul) D’Aquino, Roberto Chiavatti, Nando Chiavatti; nine grandchildren, Graziana, Bianca, Giuliana, Jordana, Simone, Anthony, Dante, Matthew, Alexander; sisters, Angela (Michael) Rosanova, Angela (Bruno) Farrace, Tina Chiavatti; sister in law, Santa Chiavatti. He is preceded in death by his brother, Claudio Chiavatti. Visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm on Thursday at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 12175 Stringfellow Rd., Bokeelia, FL.
