Resident thankful for help from island organizations
To the editor:
Recently I had the misfortune of my electric wheelchair breaking down. It was deemed unfixable and a reconditioned chair was available. This was out of my affordability but the good people of FISH, Beacon of H.O.P.E., Matlacha Hookers and the Pine Island Community Church came to my rescue.
To the people who support these organizations … you should be proud and thankful for the good works they do for folks in our community.
