Update on the fire tower mural

To the editor:

First and foremost, a big thank you for the community support and all who have contributed. Miceli’s Restaurant has generously given $500 and we are forever grateful. Anyone donating $100 or more will receive a limited edition signed print of the original art titled “5000 years of fishing on Pine Island.”

Our tentative starting date was Oct. 1 and we are unfortunately delayed due to the fact that we, the artist,s have to carry our own insurance before we begin.

If you would like to donate, an account is set up at Stonegate Bank and there are donation jars set up at local businesses.

We will keep you updated on our progress, we are excited to get painting. Thank you for the community support and your patience.
