Water service to be interrupted for galvanized pipe replacement project
Water service will be interrupted for customers on Victoria Drive, Triton Court E. and Atlantic Court Monday, Oct. 20. The water will be off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and affects 209 customers. The city is continuing its project to replace aging galvanized pipe in the southeast Cape area. (see attached map “Galvanized Pipe Project Area Shutdown”)
Water service also will be unavailable on Tuesday, Oct. 21, for residents in the Triton Court E. location. The potable water supply will be off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shutdown will affect 62 customers. (see attached map “Galvanized Pipe Project Area Shutdown 10-21”)
Precautionary boil water notices will be in effect until the City receives notice from the Lee County Health Department. The City will issue a follow-up media release at that time.
