Marilyn Miller Bone
Marilyn Miller Bone, 74, of Sun City Center, FL, died unexpectedly Dec. 23, 2013. She was a musician, artist, tennis player and animal lover- a faithful friend with a gentle, giving soul. Marilyn was the only child of former Mayor John and Elizabeth Miller of Ripley, W. Va. She lived in Matlacha for almost 30 years, from approx 1976-2005. Together with husband, Jim Bone, she owned Sea Isle Resort in Matlacha, and The Center on little Pine Island in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. She was active in the Pine Island Art Association, and a regular tennis player at the courts at Pine Island Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Michael Bone, and is survived by daughter, Martha Bone Zwierko and grandson, Zachary, of Tampa, FL. This Oct. 3rd would have been her 75th birthday. She is deeply Missed.
