Is a letter worth reading?

To the editor

How to decide whether a letter is worth reading:

(1) Assess the author, the motivation behind the letter, and length (long = beware)

(2) “How important is it to me” or to anyone else for that matter.

(3) Remember this quote from Woody Allen (adapted for this situation) – “Those that can ‘do;’ those that can’t, or think they ‘can,’ have to write long letters.

4). In the event you read one of these letters: sleep will occur (sleep will only last 1+/- hours). If sleep last longer than 4 hours, contact doctor immediately.
