Man found safe
William (Bill) Hammond has been located and is safe, the Sheriff’s Office reported late last evening.
Earlier Monday afternoon, Lee County deputies were seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Fort Myers man who hasn’t been heard from since Friday. Hammond was last seen by a family member on Aug. 7.
