Kitchen fire reported

Firefighters responded to a fire Tuesday afternoon at a home in southeast Cape Coral.
Dispatch received a call reporting heavy smoke coming from the front door of a residence, at 304 Aviation Parkway, at 1:30 p.m. Fire units arrived and identified a kitchen fire. The flames were quickly extinguished by the crews.
The occupants of the home had been evacuated, according to officials. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
