To the editor:

I read with interest the reply from Captain Richard Dobson Sr. regarding the Sheriff deputies’ action writing a warning for improper use of the bike path. I think we all tend to jump to conclusions without, as Paul Harvey would say “The Rest of The Story.” It was refreshing to read the other side of this situation from the Sheriff’s Department. I think that protection provided on Pine Island is first rate. I for one will try and look at the other side of events before jumping to conclusions. Thanks to our Sheriff and Fire Departments for doing what is sometimes a thankless job.
