Red Ribbon Pancake Breakfast Saturday
Sheriff Mike Scott, chairman of the Board of the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida, will join Coalition Board Members Dr. Dean Goldberg (Lee Memorial Hospital Trauma Department), Karen Krieger (Lee Memorial Health System Public Affairs Director) and Col. Gil Allen (Lee County Sheriff’s Office) as VIP Servers for the Coalition’s Red Ribbon Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, Aug. 21, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Applebee’s, 2228 Del Prado South, Cape Coral.
The cost of the Red Ribbon Fun Run and Walk is $10 with all proceeds benefitting the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida. Tickets are available at the door, at the Lee Memorial Health System’s Public Affairs Department, or by calling (239) 573-8747.
The Red Ribbon Fun Run and Walk is a fund-raiser for the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida, which provides large events, community education and strategic planning to help keep the children of Lee County free from alcohol, drugs and tobacco. The Coalition’s Drug House Odyssey, held in Cape Coral in March, was visited by 2,100 children, teachers, and parents.
