At 11 a.m. EDT, the center of Tropical Storm Colin was located near latitude 14.2 north and longitude 49.5 west. Colin is moving toward the west new 24 mph and a gradual turn toward the west-northwest is expected during the next couple of days. On the forecast track, the center of Colin should pass to the northeast and north of the Leeward Islands late Wednesday and early Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph with higher gusts. Some slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 35 miles from the center.
