The residents of Matlacha can now collect mail at the temporary location of the Matlacha post office as of today. The temporary location of the post office is at 4548 Pine Island Road in Matlacha, across the street from the original post office and will be open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. The temporary post office will remain open until all repairs have been completed at the old location. In addition to mail retrieval, the temporary post office will offer full retail services including stamp sales and package shipping which will be added within the next few days.
