Annual bridge maintenance is scheduled to take place in Matlacha beginning Monday, Aug. 2 and expected to continue through Thursday, Aug. 12 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Crews will be working on the bridge located closest to Sandy Hook Restaurant in Matlacha which will require lane closures during work hours. The work will be done from Monday through Thursday for the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel times as delays are anticipated.
