Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On July 19, 2010, at approximately 02:13 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Christopher Allen Henson, D.O.B. 11/19/81 of 150 Jefferson St, Fort Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bayland Ave/Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On July 19, 2010, at approximately 02:16 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nelson Christopher Tubens, D.O.B. 10/10/86 of 502 Chaucer Ave, Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida.
