Effective immediately, oversized load trucks are not permitted in the eastbound lanes at the Midpoint toll plaza. This includes oversized trucks with state permits. Oversized load truckers should use the Cape Coral or north bridges for access to Fort Myers while the toll plaza is under construction.

Motorists are advised to use caution driving through the toll plaza, and to follow work zone signage and message boards.
