Traveling puppet show to make Cape Coral stop

By Staff | Jul 24, 2010

A traveling puppet show out of Pennsylvania will make two stops in Cape Coral during August to teach the gospel message to children who are 3 to 10 years old for free.
Yadah Ministries was established in 1995 at Christ’s American Baptist Church in Pennsylvania. The team is comprised of young people ranging in age from 12 to 18, with adult advisors.
The group meets weekly to rehearse for their traveling show which is done locally, throughout the United States and abroad.
They have been doing this for 15 years, Faith Bible Fellowship Pastor Dan Roth said, adding that “the leaders have been running it very well.”
“I am thrilled that they are coming,” he said. “I think it is excellent.”
The group will make its first appearance in Cape Coral on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. The one-hour indoors performance, which will meet at the Cape Coral Youth Center, 315 Southwest 2nd Avenue, is sponsored by the Faith Bible Fellowship.
He said he is excited about the Yadah Ministries coming to the Youth Center because they put on a terrific light show during the performance.
The second performance will be held at Saratoga Lake Park on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m.
Roth said the hour-long show will feature a vibrant, upbeat interactive performance featuring lots of music.
He said the gospel will defiantly be shared during the performance, adding that they have a specific theme this year.
“Everybody enjoys it, as an adult I enjoy it, Roth said. “It is that well done that adults will enjoy it as well, but it is geared for younger children.”
