A Lehigh Acres man has been charged with murder in death of a Cape Coral man who was beaten, Tasered and shot to death in his Cape Coral home last Saturday.
Cape Coral police, meanwhile, have also obtained an arrest warrant for a second man wanted in the death of Eric Stuebinger, 28.
Terry F Ragland Jr., 26, of 314 Morgan Circle, was arrested and charged with murder Saturday, officials said in a prepared statement released Saturday morning.
Cape Coral police had responded to a home invasion call from 511 N.W. 2nd Avenue, at 2:08 a.m. Sept. 10.
They were told two masked gunmen had entered the front door and pointed a gun at the victim yelling, “Gimme the money! Where’s the drugs?! Where’s the big bag of money?”
Stuebinger, who fought back, was shoved to the ground, tasered, beaten and subsequently shot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman and child, who also were in the home, were not injured.
