Midpoint Bridge toll plaza reconstruction lane shifts begin July 19
Beginning Monday, July 19, eastbound lanes through the Midpoint Bridge toll plaza will be shifted to the north. Once the traffic shift is complete, there will be six westbound travel lanes and two eastbound travel lanes. This lane shift is necessary to allow crews to demolish the southern portion of the toll plaza canopy. This traffic shift is expected to remain in place for approximately 60 days.
During the toll plaza reconstruction, bicyclists will use a new bike path being constructed north or the toll plaza. the new bike path is scheduled to be open by July 20.
