A 76-year-old Cape Coral man was punched in the face Sunday after he refused an offer for prostitution services, according to a police report.
The man told police that he was at his home, located on Southeast 21st Avenue, at about 7 p.m. when two people came to his front door. One person was unknown to the victim, and the other person was a woman who he knew.
The woman reportedly asked the victim if he wanted “any prostitution services from her” and he stated that he did not, according to the report. The unknown individual then punched the victim in the side of the face with a closed fist, and the two people left without ever entering the man’s home.
The victim told police that he was hit against his will and he wants to press charges. The report states that police attempted to contact the woman, but spoke to an unidentified individual who stated the woman was not available.
