By Staff | Jun 15, 2010

The source of a great deal of rubber-necking recently was this nearly 7-foot-long alligator was found on the shoulder of Pine Island Road on Little Pine Island earlier this month. It is presumed that the gator was struck and killed by a passing motorist while it attempted to cross the road during the early morning hours.
