To the editor:

The American Legion would like to thank the VFW for inviting us to their fabulous Memorial Day Services. They did an outstanding job as usual. The turnout was good, the speakers were inspiring and the American Legion Honor Guard did a great job.

Everyone looks forward to more people attending this special event next year.

Flag Day is Monday, June 14, at dusk. This is the day that The American Legion burns the symbols of this great nation of ours that have served their purpose well.
