Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On May 25, 2010, at approximately 05:33 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Richard Siegel, D.O.B. 02/03/42 of 23580 Via Itala Circle, Bonita Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Ben Hill Griffin/Terminal, Fort Myers, Florida.

On May 25, 2010, at approximately 06:02 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jose Avila Villanueva, D.O.B. 02/07/82 of 2902 35th Street SW, Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of SR 82/Gunnery, Lehigh Acres, Florida.
