Deile to be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Memorial Day Commemoration
Retired Army Colonel and City of Cape Coral Councilman Bill Deile will be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Memorial Day Commemoration to be held at Coral Ridge Cemetery on May 31 at 10 a.m.
The event will include the military bugler playing Taps and a 21 gun salute by the VFW Post # 8463 Honor Guard, along with an honorary flyover of a US Army UH-1 (Huey) helicopter.
Deile has served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve for nearly 34 years. His active duty assignments included Viet Nam, Desert Storm, and Budapest; earning 19 decorations, service medals and badges of honor.
As a civilian he has membership in the Bar Associations of the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Second and Third U.S. Circuit Courts District of Columbia, Federal Circuit, Temporary Court of Appeals, US Court of Claims, U.S. District Courts of New Jersey, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and Court of Military Appeals.
His educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania Military College, a post graduate degree in Education from Temple University, a master’s degree in business administration from Farleigh Dickinson University, a Juris Doctor from the Seton Hall School of Law, and more than 12 military certifications.
