The Breeze has obtained the answers provided by the applicants for Cape Coral City manager.
City council members individually provided a list of 17 questions to the Human Resources Department, which then distributed those questions to the candidates last week. Not all of the council submitted questions. The applicants provided their responses by noon Friday.
Of the 17 applicants sent questions, one withdrew his application, one did not respond and one, Tom Leipold of Cape Coral, was disqualified by council on Monday as he did not meet the minimum qualifications advertised by the city.
