After being given the all clear by emergency responders to this morning’s bomb scare in Fort Myers the BOCC reconvened to continue its Tuesday morning meeting. When the commissioners were evacuated earlier during the day, the topic left unaddressed by the commissioners was that of funding for the Matlacha Bridge project. According to Commissioner Ray Judah’s office, the commissioners elected to defer discussion of the bridge project until a later date. The commissioners will address the bridge project during a meeting scheduled to take place on June 1.
