Heather Mazurkiewicz appointed CCCIA executive director/CEO

Heather Mazurkiewicz has been appointed the new Executive Director/CEO of the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association, according to CCCIA President David Mulicka of HONC Marine.
A resident of Southwest Florida since 1999, Mazurkiewicz most recently served as the administrative director for the Cape Coral Council for Progress and the Lee County
Alliance of Chambers, and acted as the government affairs consultant for the Bonita
Springs Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Mazurkiewicz is a past chairman of the
Board for the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral and the cities American Cancer
Society – Relay for Life. Currently Vice President of BJM Consulting, Mazurkiewicz
will put on hold her involvement in the family business to serve the builder, and related
industries sector.
“Heather is a great addition to the CCCIA team. She has the leadership training and
natural ability to build on what her predecessors has put in motion. Her expertise in area
government and knowledge of the local market and construction related projects will be a
great asset to both our board of directors and mostly our members,” said Mulicka.
In addition, CCCIA Membership Director Crystal Crothers has been promoted to the
position of administrative director/COO. Crothers has been with the CCCIA since 2008
and has been involved in many of its most successful programs.
The CCCIA is the area organization for the benefit of those engaged in construction related
industries in the City of Cape Coral. They have a strong coalition in government affairs, promote
both educational and professional development, and present a unified voice for the construction
