During the two-day Earth Day celebration at Earth and Spirit Garden Gallery in St. James City, several awards were presented to those attending. The winner of the kayak raffle was Lucy Lambrecht of St. James City. All proceeds from the kayak raffle were contributed to the Calusa Land Trust. Penny Hughes of Lake, Michigan was presented with an Earth Day Denim Jacket and the recipient of the Grand Prize for traveling to the event from the furthest distance by bicycle was Jeff Horowitz.
