To the editor:

It’s Monday, April 19, and Heidi and I just got home from the “Best Of” celebration at the Sandy Hook. We had a wonderful time. Great food and drinks. Thank you very much.

Angles won Best Salon/Barber Shop for the fifth year in a row. Heidi also won for best hairstylist. I’ve argued that one. Just kidding. I’m so proud of her, she is obviously the best. I also won for best barber. We want to thank everyone who put forth their vote.

A lot of the people at the Sandy Hook getting awards were my friends and business associates. Some are our clients. Some are not. But, I respect each and everyone of them for their hard work and integrity.

I just got done trying to get Charlene to add a new category for next year. How about Best Waterfront Hair Salon/Barber? If she does, I want it!
