Joseph George Ambrose

Joseph George Ambrose, Sr., of Bokeelia, Fla., passed away on March 8, 2010. He was born on March 9, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio, to Joseph C. Ambrose and Martha Ambrose. Mr. Ambrose was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 56 years, Dolores Ambrose; son, Joseph Ambrose, Jr.; daughters, Martha McLaughlin and her husband, Jim, Elizabeth Amin and her husband Massoud; brothers, George Ambrose and his wife, Nancy and Bernard Ambrose; brother in law, Thomas Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. Joseph is predeceased by his sisters, Marinell Ambrose, Martha Bieler and Katherine Cooper.

Memorial Services were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, with burial and military honors provided by the V.F.W. at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
