Representing the Kiwanis of Greater Pine Island, Mike Shevlin recently presented a check in the amount of $200 to Pine Island Pool director, Sandy Reynolds. According to Reynolds, the generous gift from the Kiwanis will go toward the purchase of badly needed life jackets for children to use during this summer’s swimming lessons offered at the pool.
