The Page Field Post Office will assist last-minute tax filers with extended hours on tax night, Thursday April 15. The Page Field Post Office at 2655 N. Airport Road in Fort Myers will remain open until 8 p.m. with full retail service.
Get Your Paint On, a contracted post office located at 3398 Forum Blvd. in The Forum shopping center on the north side of Colonial Boulevard (just east of I-75), will remain open until 10 p.m. with full retail service.
Two other contracted Fort Myers Post Offices will extend hours; Alico Self Storage located at 7600 Alico Road will remain open until 7:30 p.m. and Sun Harvest Citrus located at 14810 Metro Parkway will remain open to 7:00 p.m.
At Page Field Post Office a special drive-through drop-off for all mail including tax returns will be staffed by post office employees volunteering off the clock. Stamps will be available for purchase in the drive through drop off area as well as the retail lobby. Certified mail service will be available in the retail lobby area only.
The Naples main Post Office located at 1200 Goodlette Road offers a late collection of mail from the outside blue boxes at 8 p.m. with retail service available from automated postal centers located inside the building.
Mail can be deposited in the blue collection boxes at the Fort Myers Processing & Distribution Center, 14080 Jetport Loop Road, until midnight, there will be no stamp sales or retail service at this location.
All of the above options will provide an April 15th postmark.
Tax forms are not available at any of these locations.
